We led or co-led the first institutional rounds at each of these companies. Three are now valued above $300M; two sit above $500M. The list below is the proof we ask founders to look at before they pick up the phone.

We had three term sheets on a Friday and a board meeting on Monday. Maya and Daniel were the only partners who picked up the phone at 9 p.m., recalibrated the entire round in a single weekend, and then handed us a CFO introduction before we’d signed. They didn’t just wire the money — they staffed the company.

The Thesis

Where bold ideas meet patient capital.

Creative Capitalism is a thesis-led firm. We invest $2M–$15M in founders turning creative breakthroughs into category-defining companies — and we stay for the long arc.

01 — What we look for

A creative breakthrough, translated into a real business.

We back founders who arrive at a market with a non-obvious insight — a clinical protocol that scales, an electrochemical process that finally pencils, a software-defined network that replaces a century of margin-stacked intermediaries. The creative leap is the entry condition. The operating discipline is the proof.

We are drawn to first-generation immigrant founders, to operators who rebuilt their careers after a hard pivot, and to teams writing code in industries that haven’t been rewritten since 2003. Sixty-eight percent of our portfolio has a female or underrepresented founder, against an industry average of twenty-three percent.

02 — What the partnership looks like after the check

Capital, a 40-person operating bench, and a real seat at the table.

Every portfolio company gets access to a 40-person operating-partner network that includes two former unicorn founders, three public-company CFOs, and one former SEC commissioner. Our in-house Talent Partners team has placed more than 240 executives across the portfolio — CFO, CRO, Head of Regulatory, Head of People — at no incremental cost to founders.

We move from intro call to term sheet in a median of 19 business days. We reserve 1.5× initial check size for follow-on. We show up at 9 p.m. on a Friday. If that sounds like the kind of partner you want in the room, the next step is straightforward.
